My Approach

Sustainability and biodiversity have always been my priority. I approach every planting scheme with the idea of creating a city to provide a habitat for beneficial insects, from the earth moving worm population below ground to the pollinators above and all the scuttling creatures in between.

Thankfully we have come a long way from the 1970’s when gardens were perceived as a battle field and the outdoor space was approached with spray guns at the ready. I aim to create tranquil spaces that people can nurture and engage with, to enjoy natures wonders.

My History

My enthusiasm for gardening began as a child, helping my father cultivate his ever-expanding vegetable and flower beds which ended up engulfing the entire lawn. In due course I went on to study garden design at Capel Manor, which equipped me the knowledge and confidence to launch my own garden design business. Each site is unique and every client an individual, a philosophy which has enabled me to design an enormous variety of projects from organic free flowing spaces to themed installation gardens at the city of London Guildhall.
